国际学生入学条件
Freshmen are assured admission to Wichita State if they meet the following-
Have a cumulative 2.25 unweighted or higher GPA on a 4.00 scale, OR
Achieve an ACT composite of 21 or higher OR a minimum combined SAT ERW M score of 1060 (test optional for admission)
ADMISSION BASED ON GRADES FROM HIGH SCHOOL
For this option, the SAT or ACT is NOT required for admission.
This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school).
Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
Students must submit final high school transcripts.
Transcripts or examination results may be sent away for verification. If selected, it may take some time for the verification results to be returned.
The TOEFL or IELTS are not required to apply
OPTION 2- ADMISSION BASED ON SAT OR ACT RESULTS
The SAT or ACT is required for this option.
This is the best option for students who want admission before completing high school or do not meet the admissions requirements in Option 1.
If you have taken the SAT or ACT, you may apply during your final year of high school.

Wichita State's Bachelor of Arts in Education (BAED)-English language arts (secondary education)-equips students with a broad knowledge of English, linguistics, literature and writing, while preparing them for careers as certified teachers in grades 6-12. The program combines classroom learning and real-world teaching experience in Kansas' largest school district. At Wichita State, applied learning is everything. In fact, every degree we offer has a guaranteed applied learning or research experience built right into it equipping you with the relevant skills and experience to make you workforce ready before graduation. The four-year English language arts program starts with two years of general education followed by two years of teacher education. The curriculum was developed in collaboration by university faculty and P-12 practitioners and includes teaching internships.
