Academic records for grades 9-12 with official transcripts and certified English trans-lations (if applicable), for each secondary institution attended. Students who study in 3-year secondary school systems only need to provide transcripts for those three years.

Interruption of Studies Statement if you have already graduated from secondary school at the time of application.
Internet based test (iBT) score of 85 or higher. Sub-scores for each section of the TOEFL must be 20 or higher. To be considered competitive, a 90 TOEFL iBT score or above is recommended, with each sub-score 20 or above.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Composite score of 6.5 or higher. Sub-scores for each section of the IELTS must be 6.0 or higher
Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 60 or higher

Offered by the Department of World Languages and Cultures, College of Arts and Sciences, the Language and Area Studies: French/Europe (BA) is designed for students with a strong interest in a region of the world and in a language of that region. This innovative program achieves a balance between humanities and social sciences courses, combined with an advanced level of foreign language study. The Department of World Languages and Cultures (WLC) offers extensive undergraduate study in foreign language and culture (Arabic Studies (BA), French Studies (BA), German Studies (BA), Russian Studies (BA), and Spanish Studies (BA)), interdisciplinary language and area studies programs (Language and Area Studies: French/Europe (BA), Language and Area Studies: German/Europe (BA), Language and Area Studies: Russian/Area Studies (BA), and Language and Area Studies: Spanish/Latin America (BA)), as well as the jointly-administered program of Foreign Language and Communication Media (BA) with the School of Communication. In addition, the department has joined with the Kogod School of Business to offer the Business, Language & Culture Studies (BS).
