To be considered for admission, applicants must present a minimum mark equivalent to 65% in New Brunswick in each required university preparatory course. Students who have obtained an 80% average in their penultimate year may be eligible for early admission. International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma students should present a predicted score of at least 26 points, excluding core points. Biology is the scientific study of living things - their form, function, origin, and behavior. Disciplines include cell biology, ecology, genetics and evolution, and animal and plant diversity.The Department of Biology at Mount Allison is committed to providing students with opportunities for hands-on learning, as well as research and laboratory experience.Independent study and self-learning is encouraged and students interested in advanced studies are welcome to explore their own particular interests.Our graduates can be found around the globe - our program is designed to get them there, providing them with the skills, abilities, and knowledge they need to find success in further studies or their chosen careers.
