An Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with acceptable standing, AND
An overall average in completed Grade 12 U and/or M courses which meets or exceeds the minimum set by the specific program to which you applied, AND
Satisfactory completion of six Grade 12 U and/or M courses including the subject requirements for your chosen program.
IELTS – International English Language Testing System-6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening), results valid for 2 years
TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language-IBT: 86 overall with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening), valid for 2 years
CAE – Cambridge Advanced English (C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency)-180 overall with a minimum score of 176 in each component. Valid for 2 years.
PTE – Pearson Test of English Academic-60 overall with minimum score of 60 in Writing and Speaking, valid for 2 years
Duolingo English Test-115 for all direct-entry undergraduate programs

Building Healthier Communities - Civil Engineering is the broadest of the engineering disciplines, it deals with planning, designing, constructing and maintaining a sustainable infrastructure. Civil Engineering is the technology of planning for, and safely designing, constructing, maintaining, and rehabilitating community infrastructure. Civil engineers design and construct many facilities that are critical to our society. Civil Engineering addresses the interaction of people with the built and natural environment. Engineers use established theories, techniques, and emerging technologies to understand and solve complex problems.<br><br>Admission to Level II Engineering programs requires completion of all 31 units of required Engineering I courses. Students must maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0. All programs have limited enrolment, should there be more applicants than the limiting number in any program, admission to that program will be based on the student's Cumulative Grade Point Average.
