Learn about pressing local and global social justice issues. Examine how gender shapes people's lives, experiences, knowledge and possibilities. You'll explore how gender relates to race, class, sexuality, ability, age and other identity categories.<br>Careers<br>Artist or filmmaker, Communications officer, Counsellor, Cultural programs coordinator, Diversity officer, HR coordinator<br>International development officer, Journalist, Legal professional, Librarian or archivist, Outreach worker, Program or project manager<br>Public policy analyst, Research consultant, Sexual health, inclusion, anti-racism, sexualized violence educator, Social media manager<br>Student services officer, Teacher or instructor, Volunteer coordinator ead to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. A certificate in Gender Studies is now avaialble as an option. <br>The difference between the three programs is the amount of concentration in gender studies: an honours program requires more GNDR courses than a major, which in turn requires more than a minor or general program.
