Definitely an experience of a lifetime

I have been enjoying my University experience so much thus far. The course is interesting and very intellectually stimulating and the lecturers and tutors are supportive. The city is lovely as well and there is always something to do, be it with a society or just on your own.

The most important advice I would give someone thinking of studying at the University of Bristol is to make sure they have researched the course they wish to apply for thoroughly and if possible, to visit the city and campus during one of the Open Days.

Tackling a new experience with a strong mind and a positive attitude

The university does provide lots of facilities and it would be a shame not to make the best out of it. Daily revision is strongly recommended but at the same time one must be able to balance the recreational life with studies. Since only when those two are coupled with the right balance that life would be awesome. Also bad things do happen but with a strong will-power, one should be fine.

University of Bristol- A great to place to study

My university experience has been great so far. Bristol is a great place to live and study.

My advice would be to take this opportunity to build new friendships and gain essential skills by being involved in the various societies at university whilst obtaining a world-class education.

Uni life

Studying law at undergraduate and postgraduate is very tough. I made really really good friends from all parts of the world with whom I am still in contact. One gains more maturity, independence and responsibility at that stage.

Undergraduate life still remains the most gratifying one. however, because you have no parents to boss you around or manage your finance, this is the ideal opportunity to prove to yourself and your parents that you have grown up and is now a fully responsible adult.

Advice; strike a right balance between studying and social life. university life will remains the best part of your life, so make the most of it. make friends from other cultures as well.

You should fit right in if you are from a private school!

League rankings are helpful but you should bear in mind that they reflect only past performance. If you are going to study anything in the Economics, Finance and Management department, you should know that you will certainly be trailing behind other university students in terms of content because in the first year you will take units that will not be helpful at all for the rest of your degree. For instance, the accounting students have to go through a boolean logic course which they will certainly never ever see after the unit is over.
