Studying hard, Playing hard
The research opportunities and state of art facilities at Binghamton University strongly helped me to shape my research skills. Besides studying, the city of Binghamton is a great place to have fun.

Great MA Experience!
I've had great professors for various eras of literary studies, and the city of Binghamton is inexpensive for living and not far from New York City. A good experience overall, that I would recommend to others.

Beautiful campus with an excellent research atmosphere
Binghamton University has a beautiful campus in a nice small city. The research atmosphere here is creating a comfortable environment for researchers from various backgrounds all over the world.

Good program, prepare students well for jobs and postgraduate studies
I had a great experience and was able to get a job before graduation. I think the school prepares us well for future jobs and studies.

For serious students only.
Great school for those who are serious about their degree program and want to study and learn. This is not a party school. The coursework will keep you really busy and you will learn skills that will help you survive in the industry.

College Education/Experience thats Worth the Investment
I have been here for both undergrad and grad. I enjoyed my time in Binghamton because there are so many opportunities and met great people alone the way including professors. I am also very happy with academics and job placement aspects of school of management. However, the weather is extremely cold in winter and there is not a lot to the city, binghamton. for example, there isn't as many restaurants choices as I would like. Overall, it is a school worth the investment.

Great Place to study
As a PhD student since 2010 at Binghamton University, I can definitely say this is a great place to study. Binghamton is neither a big nor a small city, which makes things affordable. Additionally, the city is in the proximity of many metropolitan areas and hubs, such as Syracuse, New York City, Boston, and Washington DC. The quality of the education is comparable with the best tier universities. Therefore, Binghamton University is one of the top 50 national universities and seen as one of the Public Ivies. The cost of attendance is not high as the tuition and fees are very affordable, not to mention the high chance that you might get a scholarship or/and funding. I believe that you will learn a lot about doing research and eventually become a more qualified competitive professional whom big well-known companies would like to hire.

A Wise Decision
I came to Binghamton University first as a master's student and stayed on for my doctorate degree in political science. The reason behind my choice was straightforward, particularly, an excellent academic reputation of the department. The Political Science department at Binghamton University is ranked high in a lot of universal and specialized ratings. For instance, the US News Survey places Binghamton University on the 50th position, while the annual ranking published by the London School of Economics usually assigns the 15th spot for the program - the same level as venerable (and much more expensive) universities of Oxford and Columbia. Furthermore, the department appears on the 5th position in the current 2013 version of the National Research Council political science ranking. As a master's graduate and current PhD candidate at Binghamton University, I can vouch that those rankings are true. The Political Science Department is a highly professional team of faculty members and students, who work together, who maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, and who do everything to make you feel at home and a fellow scientist. Binghamton itself is a nice small town, which I can proudly call my home nowadays. It has everything one would like to see, and everything is so close. After living in a big city, living in Binghamton proved to be very cozy and convenient; and if I miss a big city, there are so many places to go: New York City, Boston, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Washington DC and so on. Choosing Binghamton was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
